Bharath Group is based in Mangalore, India, and is headed by Mr. B. Ganapathi Pai as the Chairman and Managing Director. Bharath Beedi Works Pvt. Ltd. is the flagship company of the group. The company is famous for its brand of Beedies ' 30 Beedi '. Mr. B. Ganapathi Pai has more than forty-five years experience in the Company and under his vibrant stewardship, the Company has scaled ever-greater heights. He is being assisted by three young, energetic and dynamic executive directors, Mr. Nagendra D. Pai , Mr. Ananth G. Pai and Mr.Subraya M. Pai .

This team of executives is ever vigilant in the selection of tendu leaves and tobacco, processing of tobacco, the rolling of beedies and above all in the quality control of the product. As a team they look after the day to day management of the Company. A separate export division caters to the export market. The division has the additional responsibility of manufacture of special beedies meant for export, their packaging & onward transportation.

Transportation is the mainstay of the industry. Bharath Logistics manages the entire cycle from transport of Tendu leaves to the manufacturing destination, till the distribution of Beedies, the finished product.
Bharath Builders made its maiden venture into the Realty market in Mangalore with the first Multiplex in Mangalore, Bharath Big Cinemas in Bharath Mall. The Mall offers a complete shopping and entertainment experience. The company has set a new benchmark with its quality first approach and has been appreciated by the customers.

The group has forayed into the Automobile sector & it has the largest & Most Modern Maruti Suzuki Dealer of Dakshina Kannada. A One stop shop for all Maruti Cars, Bharath Auto Cars was established on 24th May 2006 at Kuntikana, Mangalore.

Printing is an integral constituent of Beedi industry. Printing of labels, wrappers and cartons is carried out by two well laid out printing presses. Alaknanda Printers carries out the printing work from its ultra modern presses at Mangalore, and Bharath Printers operate from its sophisticated works at Maroli, Mangalore.

Alaknanda Printers has successfully entered the retail market with a chain of stores, Bharath Bookmark. The store specializes in Books, Magazines, Stationery, and a pioneer in having an online presence for its Book division.
